The Farmright Group Limited

The Farmright Group has developed a range of products to enable the delivery of an integrated food supply chain from the farm to the consumer (‘joined up farming’). Formed in Bristol in 2000 by Mike Bennett, its primary areas of operation are milk brokering, wholesaling, on farm consultancy and the processing and packaging of specialist dairy products.   The Group has a modern dairy processing facility based in Plymouth.

Farmright contracts with over 150 million litres per annum of direct farm milk, manages farmer relationships, distribution and logistics, and provides expertise, consultancy and market leading product traceability. It has successfully developed fresh functional milk products such as its naturally enriched Omega 3 milk, launched with Marks & Spencer in May 2005.

Dairystix – the exclusive “milk in a stick” – is supplied to major retailers, airlines and food services markets.  The concept is revolutionary and provides both cost and environmental benefits, being cheaper to produce than its traditional competitor, the ‘jigger pot’, and utilising less material, thus minimising storage requirement, transportation and overall carbon footprint.
